Dr. WallinDr. Rolf Wallin, Center Physician

Dr. Wallin has been a board certified anesthesiologist for 28 years, whose interest in Age Management Medicine began several years ago.  His interest in Age Management Medicine brought him to Cenegenics, where he completed the only AMA-accredited training in Age Management Medicine.
Dr. Wallin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He received his Medical Degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 1984 and completed his Anesthesiology Residency in 1987 at UNC Hospital. He then finished a fellowship year in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, spending time at both UNC Hospital and Duke University Hospital.  He went to Fayetteville, N.C. and started a new Cardiac Surgery program, coordinating the development of both the Cardiac OR’s and the Cardiac ICU.  After several years, he transitioned to Outpatient Anesthesia, where as president of the practice he serves both in an administrative and clinical capacity.  Dr. Wallin has chosen to make this exciting new field of Age Management Medicine his primary focus.
Although he has had a lifelong interest in health and fitness, he was 51 years old when he ran his first marathon and 53 when he did a half/full marathon double.  He has completed the 500-600 mile Cycle NC ride four times.  He continues to pursue weight, cardio and yoga training.
