Exercise: Custom Fitness Program

Exercise is part of any healthy lifestyle, regardless of age. Poor fitness can lead to obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol and hypertension, all of which impact your health, making you feel older and diminishing quality of life.

Cenegenics physicians and a nutrition and exercise counselor will discuss a patient’s current exercise program and develop a new or modified plan that fits their body’s needs and abilities. Patients will work on three main exercise categories: resistance/weight training, cardiovascular exercise and flexibility. Each part of the personalized exercise program offers specific benefits and together they are part of a balanced exercise package.
